I interviewed Tara Mayo on MapMyRun to talk about being a vegan ultrarunner, but as soon as I had her on the phone, I knew we wanted her to be a podcast guest to talk about her rad life. She’s a yoga teacher with a hair salon that runs out of a gym (genius!!!!), plus an ultra runner, a mom and an all-around busy, rad lady. So, we get into combining training for ultras with being a normal human, how to handle post-gym hair, cross-training and strength for runners, and a whole lot of tips for getting into and getting comfortable with yoga.
